We will invest a proportion of our profits back into communities through our further education scholarship programme that will help children that have had a tough start reach their aspirational goals. Are you a skilled thatcher, weaver, shelter builder, or outdoor artisan passionate about sharing your craft with the next generation?
The Outdoor Learning Alliance is seeking talented tradespeople to deliver hands-on workshops that inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection to nature. From traditional skills to modern techniques, we believe your expertise can enrich our learners’ experience and help them build confidence, teamwork, and practical knowledge.
We welcome expressions of interest from individuals and organisations who meet our stringent safeguarding standards, including enhanced DBS checks and alignment with our child protection policies. The Outdoor Learning Alliance offers a welcoming space for parents and carers to explore alternative provision, share experiences, and discover new pathways for their children.

Our Allotment
The Outdoor Learning Alliance is proud to nurture a dedicated forest allotment — a living classroom where children grow, harvest, and connect with the land.
It’s a space for digging, planting, composting, and learning about food, nature, and sustainability through hands-on experience.
Here, learners explore seasonal cycles, care for wildlife, and take pride in growing their own produce. From sowing seeds to cooking what they’ve grown, the allotment builds confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging.
We welcome contributions from local growers, horticulturists, and community partners who share our values.

Therapy Animals & Wellbeing Partners
Do you work with a therapy dog, pony, or other trained animal that brings comfort, connection, and calm to children and young people?
The Outdoor Learning Alliance is looking to partner with individuals and organisations who offer animal-assisted wellbeing.
We believe in the power of relational, sensory-rich experiences — and therapy animals can play a vital role in helping learners regulate, build trust, and feel safe.
If you meet our stringent safeguarding standards, including enhanced DBS checks and alignment with our child protection policies, we’d love to explore offering workshops, visits, or regular sessions as part of our trauma-informed provision.
